Excellent Plus Benefits,etc…!The client, a 300 bed hospital in NM, near El Paso, TX has a need for 2 Certified Nurse Midwives to join their growing team. This is a midwife position who does deliveries. They work at a clinic and then rotate covering deliveries at the hospital. Description Certified Nurse Midwife shall, under the direction and instruction of the Medical Center through the Midwifery Director, the Medical Director of First Step Women\\\'s Health, and CMO, perform the duties necessary to provide timely and comprehensive medical services to Medical Center\\\'s patients. The CNM provides care to patients throughout the life span including newborns, ch! ildren, adolescents, adults and geriatric age groups. Qualific! ations Minimum Education: Successful completion of a nurse midwifery educational program accredited by the American College of Nurse Midwives (ACNM).Minimum Experience: Minimum of one year experience preferred, new graduates accepted. Certification/Licensure: Currently (or eligible) or compact licensed as an RN in the State of New Mexico. Certification by State of New Mexico Health and Environmental Department as a CNM. Certification by the ACNM, including meeting continuing competency requirements by ACNM.We are also one of twelve hospitals in New Mexico that have joined the New Mexico Medical Review Association (NMMRA) in a focused effort to enhance methodology and ensure the best treatment for each and every patient each and every time.This town is located in the Mesilla Valley of southern New Mexicoâ€"between the stunning Organ Mountains and the rambling Rio Grande close to El Paso, TX.
