We have a new employment opportunity for an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing to assist with clinical services l! eadership within
a quality skilled nursing facility located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The successful candidate will
be a nurse with solid Long Term Care experience.
The ADON is responsible for facility nursing management support including maintaining
coverage, policy compliance, and quality of care. We are searching for a nurse with strong
clinical skills for this position.
Responsibilities include:
Monitoring staff regulatory compliance to ensure quality care for all
residents
Monitoring nursing staff performance and addressing any QA issues
Clinical policy and procedure support
Infection control support
Assisting the DON in identifying & resolving nursing department deficiencies
Monitoring implementation of correction plans
Attending rounds when needed
Requirements:
Must have a current license in good standing
Prior long term care managemen! t experience is required
RNs strongly preferred, LPNs! with extensive experience may be considered
