Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Elaboration and control of quotes for the Latin American region.
- Rate negotiation, finding the best ones in price, service, and transit times with different suppliers.
- Maintain good communication with customers.
- Advice on pricing to internal and external customers.
- Elaboration of tenders.
- Generating monthly or weekly reports requested by Management for the proper follow up of the department goals.
- Assistance on solving problems of potential and existing customers related to rates, transit times, routes, or carriers.
- Comply with quote response times.
- Collaboration with fulfillment of the goals established by Corporation.
- Coordinate the department priorities.
- Send instructions for the coordination in the Operations department.
Required Experience:
- 4-5 years.
Desired Skills and Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field.
- Advanced English.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Air and Ocean consolidation knowledge.
- Basic knowledge in management systems.
- Strong pricing knowledge.
