The Registered Nurse (RN), Correctional Facility, under the supervision of the Supervising Registered Nurse II, Correctional Facility, is responsible for providing basic nursing care to inmates incarcerated in the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. This includes assessments, triage, scheduling, patient education, and emergency response coverage. Performs Health Care related duties consistent with the RN Scope of Practice. $7,285
- Bay Area institutions â€" Correctional Training Facility, Salinas Valley State Prison, and California State Prison, San Quentin
$8,030
- Bay Area institutions â€" Correctional Training Facility, Salinas Valley State Prison, and California State Prison, San! Quentin
New civil service employees (individuals hired from outside State service) appointed on or after 01/01/03 to a classification listed above and employed at any correctional institution, performing satisfactorily, shall be eligible to receive the appropriate recruitment differential upon completion of the specific qualifying and consecutive qualifying pay period(s).

Requirements (Minimum Qualifications): Possession of a current license as a registered nurse in California.
