    Job Summary
    This position requires a dependable, organized individual to work with high school counselors, CTE coordinators, AP and other teachers, school administrators, and other school staff, as well as students and parents in rostering, facilitating accommodations, administering testing, and other related tasks for summative assessments in a high school setting: ACT, AP, APPL, Aspire Plus, WIDA, Growth Measure, Alternate Assessments, etc. Attendance, physical presence, and timeliness are required and are essential functions of this position.

    Essential Functions
    • Responsible for securely proctoring testing at assigned school location.
    • Responsible for scheduling and communicating testing logistics.
    • Fundamental knowledge about computer, software applications, web browsers, and various testing platforms.
    • Ensure that testing policies and protocols are followed, including USBE testing ethics policies.
    • Excellent interpersonal and public relations skills.
    • Ability to multi-task, with strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
    • Willingness to work as a part of a team.
    • Coordinates with district and school administrators, school counselors, teachers for the smooth operation of summative assessments in the school.
    • Training teachers and proctors to ensure effective and ethical administration of all summative assessments.

    Required Education and Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • Upload current resume and two letters of recommendation with application
    Prior Experience
    • Experience in working with youth and adults preferred
    • Experience in managing, administering, and directing similar large-scale projects preferred
    Required Knowledge and Skills
    • Basic computer skills.
    • Strong skills in problem solving, people interaction, organization, and communication.
    • Ability to manage and complete numerous projects.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
    Assigned Decision Making
    • Assessment facilitator is responsible for working with district and school administrators and other staff to coordinate summative assessments.
    Interactions with Others
    • Interactions with administrators, counselors, CTE teachers, AP teachers, secretaries, other teachers, parents, students, other stakeholders. Communicates with the district departments and administrators. Receives training and direction from personnel in the Student Assessment Department.

    Working Environment
    • Work takes place in a typical office environment, classroom settings, as well as testing areas.
    • Tasks may involve extended periods of time at a keyboard or workstation.
    • Works independently while also coordinating with multiple school stakeholders.
    • Deals with interruptions that stop current work to resolve problems.
    • Deals with school-based supervision as well as training and direction from district departments.
    • Works on multiple assignments with deadlines.

    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to speak and/or hear.
    • Requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Ability to reach with hands and arms, use hands to finger, handle or feel.
    • Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision and ability to focus. Physical demands require moving and lifting supplies, equipment, etc. up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
    • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
