We have a new employment opportunity for an MDS Coordinator in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The chosen MDS Coordinator / RNAC will ensure accurate completion of the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) including the Minimum Data Set (MDS) as prescribed by State and Federal regulations.
This position reports to the DON and has supervisory responsibility with regard to the completion of the RAI / care planning process. The MDS Coordinator delegates assignments to the interdisciplinary team and monitors their progress to ensure compliance with the MDS process. As leader of the Care Plan team, this position has overall responsibility for coordination of resident care between departments.
The chosen candidate will be a Nurse with a current license in good standing and current CPR certification. A minimum of 2 year’s experience within Long Term Care and a minimum of 1 year of MDS 3.0 experience required. One year of supervisory experience strongly preferred.
RNs preferred, LPNs may be considered
The MDS coordinator may need to be available on weekends and holidays on occasion. The chosen candidate must be available to work beyond normal working hours and in other related positions on a temporary basis.
Compensation will be generous, and will be based upon professional experience.
