The Center for Development and Disability (CDD), established in 1990, is New Mexico's University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities Education, Research and Service. These centers, authorized by th e Developmental Disabilities Assistance and Bill of Rights Act, build the capacities of states and communities to respond to the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.
The CDDâs Early Childhood Home and Family Services (ECHFS) division is seeking to hire a Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) for its evidence-based home visiting program in Bernalillo County, Nurse Family Partnership (NFP). The CNE serves as the project lead and nurse supervisor, overseeing up to eight nurse home visitors and ensuring implementation of the NFP model with fidelity and in adherence to all state, federal, and National Service Office (NSO) regulations. This position works in collaboration with other ECHFS division leadership and in direct partnership with the clinical manager overseeing the Parents as Teachers (PAT) Home Visiting program, also housed at the CDD. The CNE represents the program with state funders, NFP National Service Office consultant, and other local and governmental stakeholders. The CNE ensures all required data entered and reports generated meet all state and national benchmarks and is responsible for the quality and productivity of RN Home Visiting staff, and also engages in efforts to support sustainable funding for the program and participates in budgeting processes.
This position requires a valid driverâs license and access to a personal vehicle for travel to meetings and home visits.See the Position Description for additional information.

- Must maintain certification status.
Equivalent education leading to Registered Nurse Certification. Certification/Licensure State of New Mexico Licensed Registered Nurse or licensure pending as documented by temporary licensure OR Current RN licensure from a state participating in the multistate privilege to practice compact with New Mexico
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
