Director of Nursing - Children's Services

Location: Tampa Florida

Description: The CSI Companies is hiring Director of Nursing - Children's Services right now, this vacancy will be placed in Florida. Further informations about this vacancy opportunity kindly read the description below. The Director is responsible for the Peds and PICU unit (approximately 24 FTEs).
This is a full time, permanent position located outside of Tampa, FL (relocation assistance is provided for the right candidate).
The Director assumes 24-hour responsibility and accountability for nursing care in the areas of responsibility. The position requires knowledge and skill of professional nursing theory and practice, leadership in administration, principles of effective teaching and learning, fiscal management, and effective interpersonal relationships and communi! cation. Provides leadership and support to the nurse managers ! using creative leadership to ensure best outcomes in high quality compassionate patient care.

Hospital offers specialties including:

• Cardiac & Interventional Services
• Cardiac Surgery
• Emergency Services
• General Surgery
• Neonatal Intensive Care (Level II & III)
• PICU
• Pediatrics

Reports to the CNO, and is responsible for the overall administration and organization of Pediatrics and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. This position is responsible for achieving these fundamental objectives:

• Meeting budget requirements.
• Managing HR in a manner so as to optimize staff skills and experience.
• Meeting high quality patient care standards

Licensure/Certifications:
Valid State RN license
PALS, NRP Certification REQUIRED

Education:
BSN - REQUIRED.
Masters Degree preferred. MSN preferred.

Experience: Minimum 2 years Director experience required.
PICU experience a plus
Experience with expansion of Pediatric services a plus.

Pay
Salary is 105-118k base plus up to 15% bonus
