Purpose of Position
This position will provide consultation and clinical expertise to assist in screening abuse, neglect and exploitation reports and when indicated by the incident in question (e.g. incidents involving injury, medications or an assessment of health plan implementation). Position will also conduct abuse, neglect and exploitation investigations.

This position is a Pay Band 75.

Classification Description:
Registered Nurses-Advanced

Minimum Qualifications:
Associates Degree in Nursing or graduation from a NLN accredited program accepted by the! New Mexico Board of Nursing and three (3) years paid experien! ce as a Registered Nurse.

Employment Requirements:
Some statewide and out of state travel is required. Surveyors are required to pass a Surveyor Minimum Qualifications Test within one (1) year of employment. Must possess and maintain a valid New Mexico Drivers License. Must possess and maintain a current Defensive Driving Course Certificate from the State of New Mexico or must pass and receive Defensive Driving Course Certification as a condition of continued employment. Successful completion of Health insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) training.

Statutory Requirements:
All applicants for this position must be licensed in accordance with the Nursing Practice Act § 61-3-2 through 61-3-31 NMSA 1978 and 16.12.1 through 16.12.20 NMAC, as applicable.
