Provides care to assigned patients in a caring, safe and efficient manner; and is responsible to perform the fol! lowing according to Good Samaritan mission, center/campus standards.
Client Care:
Assesses and formulates a plan of care for clients in their homes that includes social, emotional, physical, and spiritual needs. Provides nursing care to clients according to physician orders. Provides teaching and training to client/family/caregiver as appropriate.

The following are the minimum requirements to be hired into this job:
Knowledge: basic ability to communicate and comprehend; abilit! y to measure and comprehend certain quantities; knowledge of b! asic nursing skills; knowledge and familiarity with the therapeutic effects and side effects of all medications administered; graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Prior Experience: 2 years prior home care experience required; ability to meet conditions of employment applicable to the facility; must be able to speak, read and write in English and be able to articulate clearly and audibly.
Specific Abilities/Training: licensure for state of practice is required; Baccalaureate degree in Nursing or related field preferred; current CPR certification or ability to become certified in CPR within 180 days or hire.
Must be comfortable and willing to learn a computer charting system.
Must be able to attend weekly meetings and willing to work 1 weekend per month.
