Staff/Clinical Pharmacist

Location: Albuquerque New Mexico

Kaye/Bassman International has been engaged by a 150 bed, suburban hospital to locate a Staff/Clinical Pharmacist. This beautiful, financially sound Medical Center provides the surrounding communities with a number of medical specialties ranging from comprehensive cardiac and trauma care to family-based primary care services. The Director of Pharmacy has over 20 years of clinical experience and is willing to train and mentor motivated pharmacists looking for more clinical exposure.

Schedule:

• Day/evening rotation
• 1 out of 4 weekend
• No call

Compensation:

• $110,000 - $135,000 depending on experience
• Sign-on and/or retention bonus
• Relocation assistance if needed
• Tuition Reimbursement Program
• Employer matched retirement

Responsibilities:

• Interprets physician prescriptions and medication

orders for appropriateness

• Profiling, reviewing, and dispensing of medications

for patients

• Act as a drug information resource to patients,

physician staff, nursing staff, and ancillary department personnel

Requirements:

• Graduate from an ACPE accredited college of pharmacy

program

• Current Pharmacist license by State Board of

Pharmacy

• Prefer 1 year of acute care experience, or

significant inpatient rotations

• Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work

with team members required

• Must have basic computer skills
